We benefit by their beauty: plants with their foliage and blooms, are nature’s way of capturing sunlight and converting it to tempt beneficials to come visit them… For pollination and to protect them from pests.

In return for bringing nutrients to them from the soil, they also feed the microbiome that lives in the soil, the sugars they create from the sunshine.

It’s a win-win situation all around. And we get to enjoy all that bounty by bringing a bit of that physical sunshine into our lives.
